Paul has a long established history in early childhood education and care which started with working in the family business. Over the years, he has built, bought and sold various services and is currently the Approved Provider of Bimbi Day Care in Airport West.
Reflecting his passion for the sector and ensuring the viability of early education and care in Australia, Paul is also President of the Australian Childcare Alliance. He plays a key role in advocating for the interests of members at a federal level.
Vice-President - Mr Nick Moutzouris
Director Monash Vale Early Learning Centre, Clayton
Nick and his family own and operate two services in Melbourne and Nick is Director of Monashvale ELC in Clayton. Being part of a family run business, Nick well and truly understands the challenges the sector is facing and is enthusiastic about using this opportunity to address some of those challenges and build on the opportunities brought by new growth and a strengthened focus on quality in the sector.
Nick brings to the role robust financial skills, strong negotiating skills a thorough knowledge of the sector and an innovative approach derived in part from previous roles in the real estate industry.
Treasurer - Mr Sam Rosenberg
Approved Provider: Buddies Early Learning Centre, Bentleigh
Sam is currently the Approved Provider of Buddies Early Learning Centre a 47 place service in Bentleigh. Over many years he has developed and run multiple services, priding himself on providing top quality service with a difference for the children in his care.
A Chartered Accountant, Sam is also the Director of Childcare Management Systems, a childcare consultancy and RTO. With his in-depth knowledge of the industry combined with an acute understanding of the needs of individual centres, and groups of centres, Sam is a very valuable resource willing to add his expertise to the Committee.
Secretary- Mrs Suzanne El-Katateny

Suzanne is married with 4 adult children and lives on the Mornington Peninsula. She obtained an Associate Diploma in Social Studies in 1998 and completed her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) in 2000. She has a wealth of experience within the childcare sector, having owned and operated 6 long day care centres from 60 to 120 places. She also spent 4 years with NCAC auditing childcare services Australia wide. Currently Suzanne is owner of a Family Day Care Scheme, Colour Our World FDC, with educators working across the Melbourne metropolitan region. Her professional associations include FDCA, ACAV, Gowrie Victoria and FKA Children’s Services. Suzanne has a passion for quality, learning and the well-being of all children, staff and owners within the child care services.
Member - Mr Lucian Roncon
Approved Provider: First Steps Child Care Centre, Whittington
Lucian has a wealth of experience in child care, having built and managed a number of childcare centres over the years. He currently manages his Centre in Whittington. He has provided leadership and direction for the Association for many years, representing members' interests across all levels of Government and in the media.
Member - Mrs Jennifer Kearney
Approved Provider: Dudley Street Childcare & Kindergarten, Wallan and Sutherland Street Childcare & Kindergarten, Kilmore
Jennifer is part owner of four Early Childhood Education and Care services including two O.S.H.C services located at local Primary Schools. She and her husband have been members of ACA Victoria since 2007. Jenny's background in finance and marketing has been an invaluable asset to the association since she first joined the committee in 2011.
Member - Ms Sommer Gloury
Approved Provider Yarra Glen Early Learning Centre
Sommer and her family own and operate a Long Day Care Centre in Yarra Glen. Sommer has developed and managed multiple centres over the years and her leadership and mentoring skills are an asset to members. Sommer is enthusiastic about using this opportunity to strengthen a focus on quality care and environments for children and professionalism in the sector.
Sommer brings to the role robust operating and managerial skills, strong knowledge of the sector and an innovative approach derived from 20 years experience working in the sector.
