Christina Dee
Director, Forest School Learning Initiative (FSLI)

Christina Dee has been involved in Forest School since 2000, running Forest School sessions, establishing and running Forest School training to approximately 300 learners a year who are mainly Teachers, Kindergarten workers and teaching assistants.


Forest School Learning Initiative (FSLI) was established by Chris in 2007. Chris is the Director with 8 full-time staff and many staff on a part-time basis in local areas. Chris organises three professional conferences a year for Forest School Leaders. Forest School Learning Initiative provides Forest School leader training as well as Forest School sessions to 500 children a week in 13 schools.

Chris has been involved in outdoor education internationally for the last 5 years, first establishing Forest School in Shanghai and carrying out training there as well as Forest School sessions.


In Australia, Chris and the FSLI team have carried out training in Queensland on 6 occasions to 110 learners over the past three years, Most recently Level 3 Forest School Leader training has taken place in Melbourne.
