Educational leadership: Rising to the potential of the role

Establishing curriculum direction and aligning your team’s shared pedagogy takes determination, excellent communication skills and a strong emphasis on aligning relationships that are centred on ’teaching quality’ and ‘learning cycles’.  Creating a shared approach to teaching and learning can be complex with any ECE team.

Kelly will discuss a series of case studies where educational leadership has made a difference and will highlight the important capabilities that this identifies for educational leaders in early childhood. This session will highlight strategies for educational leadership on:

• Empowering a team
• Overcoming isolation and individualism
