Australian Government seeks feedback from our sector

Early learning service providers are being surveyed by the Department of Education, Skills & Employment (DESE) to get their feedback on the ECEC Relief Package and how it affects their service operations.

This week service providers will receive an email or SMS from ORIMA Research seeking information on:

  • changes in  staffing and attendance levels since 1 March 2020
  • whether service providers are eligible for the JobKeeper Payment
  • how many of their employees/educators are eligible for the JobKeeper Payment
  • how they are approaching providing care to essential workers, vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families previously enrolled with them, and
  • service financial viability and staff retention.

ACA Victoria strongly encourages members to complete this survey, to ensure that DESE receives as much feedback as possible on the outcomes of the existing relief package to date.

When you receive the survey invitation, we recommend that you have the relevant information (attendance records, number of staff employed, any increase or decrease in attendance across the specified dates, etc) ready and at hand, so that you can complete the survey as accurately as possible.

Please keey an eye out for the email or text message from ORIMA Research!
