As an organisation committed to the highest standards of care, ACA Victoria acknowledges the distress such reports may cause to families and educators. However, it is important to recognise that these cases do not reflect the broader sector, where the vast majority of services—including our members—work tirelessly to provide safe, high-quality early learning environments.
Data from the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) demonstrates that 91% of early learning services meet or exceed the National Quality Standard (NQS), reinforcing the sector’s strong commitment to child safety and well-being.
