This workshop is part of a four part series, Uncovering (rather than covering) the Planning Cycle.

Each workshop is a distinct stand-alone event but is interconnected. So attend them all or attend one or two.

Each of these workshops will assist you and your teams in understanding the regulatory requirements for interconnectedness in the EYLF and VEYLDF planning cycles and inspiring new and innovative practice.

Planning by design

Kerri O'Neill presents: learn new techniques for planning by design that honours a rich image of the child.

What do we mean when we talk about planning by design?  Does the phrase and practice of curriculum design position educators as implementors or thinkers?

This workshop will reflect on historical ways of planning, the new dominant discourse of how planning has evolved in response to the learning and development outcomes and new possibilities and techniques for planning by design that honours a rich image of the child and listening.
