ACA Victoria runs a number of Professional Development and other events during the year. Our major events are our annual Conference and Exhibition and the calendar of short PD sessions run each month.

Leadership Retreat

Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2015

In 2015, we are pleased to launch our first ever Leadership Retreat. Specifically tailored to meet the needs of Childcare Centre owners and Directors, the weekend will provide a customised leadership program for translating leading-edge insights into practical management actions in your centre.  

Attendees will benefit from the significant expertise of the highly credentialed speakers, presenting on a range of topics including:

  • Leadership and team work
  • Strategic thinking
  • Change management
  • Time management
  • Financial management and profitability
  • Marketing and social media.

All of the modules will be delivered in interactive sessions, allowing participants to develop networks and get the most out of their learning experience.

General Members Meetings

Members' Meetings are open to all members. Details of each meeting will be emailed to members at least 1 month in advance, but can also be accessed here. Presentations from the meetings will be available. In 2015, for the first time, we will be running some meetings online, to enable members from all areas to participate.
