Business Growth and Succession Workshop, 9.30am Wednesday 20 March, CBA 727 Collins Street, Melbourne 

This highly interactive, in-depth and engaging 6 hour workshop has been specifically designed to cover tax, finance, structure and wealth issues of particular significance for child care centre owners who are operate in partnership either with family (perhaps inter-generational) or others.

Senior Business Financial Advisor Gabrielle Teys and Relationship Executive Kim McCauley of ACAV Partner CBA will join forces with Mills Oakley partner Harry Giannikidis to explore these complex and important issues. Using relevant case studies, these experienced facilitators will cover:

  • Business goals and objectives, business structures, including tax differences, personal liability considerations, key clauses and implications
  • Business funding options (equity, debt funding, vendor finance), risk appetite, cashflow, loan security (subordination deeds, guarantees), bank annual reviews
  • Exit and entry strategies and tax considerations, succession planning, key capital gains tax implications (small business concessions)
  • Wealth planning and lifestyle management, personal asset protection and intergenerational wealth transfer
