The Launch into Work program is a collaboration between the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR), participating employers, and ACA Victoria, aiming to revolutionise the recruitment process for the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector. By offering entry-level job opportunities and embracing new recruitment strategies, this program opens doors for both employers and job seekers alike.

The Launch into Work program is a dynamic initiative designed to support ACA Victoria members in recruiting new educators through innovative pre-employment projects.

Tailored Pre-Employment Projects

Partnering with DEWR and ACA Victoria, Approved Providers have the opportunity to design pre-employment projects specifically for entry-level roles within their businesses. These projects are specifically designed to build confidence and skills in participants, ensuring they are fully prepared to excel in the ECEC sector.

100% Employment Outcomes

All individuals who successfully complete a pre-employment project will be offered employment, providing a seamless transition into the workforce.

Hand Picked Talent

Approved Providers participating in the program have the unique opportunity to hand-pick from a pool of fresh, enthusiastic, and trained applicants. With a pressing need for skilled professionals in the sector, the Launch into Work program presents new opportunities for top-tier talent to join your team.

How Launch into Work works

ACA Victoria will serve as the Launch into Work Coordinator for the proposed project, delivering it on behalf of participating Nominated Employers.

Candidates will be allocated to participating employers during pre-project screening and selection. This allocation will take into consideration the preferences of both participant and employer.

Upon commencement in employment, participants will be signed up to a training agreement for a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. This ensures that your new recruits receive the necessary training and support to thrive in their role.
