Southern Cross University (SCU) is offering ACA Victoria/Tasmania members a unique opportunity to work with their students who require placements in Victoria and Tasmania.
 
You can host two students for their 10 day placement and/or host two students for their 6 week placement to assist your service.
 
The eligibility criteria are as follows:
 
10 day placement commencing 8 October 2024

• Placement in a room for children aged 0-2 or 3-5 years (maximum of two students)

• To sign off – Must have an Early Childhood Teacher degree (ECT) or be working towards their degree

• Minimum of 10 placement days (excluding any leave days or public holidays)

• Minimum of 7.5 hours per day, including breaks

• Additional 30 minutes of planning time provided

• For each student, the service will receive $37.29 per day

• There is also an additional payment of $1.85 per day per student for administration costs

6 week placement commencing 11 November 2024

• Placement in a room for children aged 0-2 or 3-5 years (maximum of two students)

• Must have an Early Childhood Teacher degree (ECT) or be working towards their degree

• Minimum of 30 placement days (excluding any leave days or public holidays)

• Minimum of 7.5 hours per day, including breaks

• Additional 30 minutes of planning time provided

• For each student, the service will receive $37.29 per day

• There is also an additional payment of $1.85 per day per student for administration costs
